Do you ever get frustrated because you see expert – level businesses out there on the web, positioned as high-powered coaches and industry influencers in your niche, but the only training you can find online about how to get started is “how to create a squeeze page” or “how to start an internet business”?

You know how it is – you want to build a REAL BUSINESS but every training you come across is just some basic training on how to create some kind of one-page minisite?

Like THAT’S really gonna be professional, right?

YOU want to have a professional presence online, like the big players in your industry, right?

And if you don’t – you should!

No disrespect intended, but if you really think you can compete in your niche with a lame squeeze page, 3 articles on your site, and a weak sales letter, you are seriously kidding yourself.

Look, I don’t mean to offend, I’m not a mean person, BUT – the truth is – if you want to compete, you gotta LOOK like the big boys and girls.

And if you don’t – well, it’s no wonder people aren’t buying from you, is it?

And by the way, if you are focusing on “driving traffic” but you don’t have a professional presence when someone gets to your site – well, that traffic is wasted.

Are you driving traffic but no one buys or subscribes?

Maybe it’s not the traffic.

Maybe it’s your site.

Again, I’m not trying to be mean. I’m being real. Please bear with me here.

But I hear it all the time, a client tells me “I tried this traffic and it didn’t work, so I tried THIS traffic, then it didn’t work, so can you PLEASE teach me to drive traffic the way you do.”

So I do. I teach them. And that doesn’t work for them either.

But it works for me and hundreds of others online. And the traffic sources you’ve tried work for other people who have professional businesses.

Traffic isn’t the problem.

What you do with that traffic when it comes to your site is the problem.

Ok, I guess I just lost a whole lot of readers.

If you are still with me, you are one of a few very special people who are tough enough to want to hear the truth, even if it hurts!

So may I continue???

Ok, I will!

Here are the things you need in place in order to position yourself to sell your coaching, your products, your training programs, anything:

1) You need a USP. That’s right – a UNIQUE selling proposition. You MUST differentiate from your competition. You CANNOT teach EXACTLY The same thing as everyone else.

2) You need a professional looking site with 5 critical elements.

3) You need a core training that you are selling for $1000 or more. That’s right, $1000 or more. I can teach you to create that in one day. It can be a coaching program, a training program, or a home study course. And it doesn’t have to have a zillion hours of training. And it HAS to be priced at $1000 or more.  You have to have it. No one wants to learn from someone who just has $10 products. You don’t, do you? Experts, gurus, influencers, and mavens have $1000 products. If you don’t, it proves you are NOT an expert, so people don’t buy your $100 training. Does that make sense? One reason you might not be selling your $100 product EVEN IF IT IS BETTER THAN YOUR COMPETITION is because THEY have a $1000 product and you don’t.

4) You MUST be able to engage with the people who come to your site. That means you have to be able to write or talk. Emails, sales letters, webinars, teleseminars, skype, whatever. You don’t have to do ALL those things at the same time. But you HAVE to be able to communicate clearly. If you don’t know how, you have to learn.

Does that seem like a lot?

It is.

But can you see how important those things are?

And if you don’t have them – people aren’t buying from you.

Which of those components are you missing?

Why?

Is it because you don’t know how to do it?

Or maybe because no one has told you they are important?

But they clearly are, right?

That’s right, they ARE important.

And here’s why I think people don’t teach them and tell you about them:

Because they don’t sound EASY.

And EASY sells.

The EASY BUTTON sells.

People fork over $1000 day in and day out for training that promises to be EASY.

You know, just write a quick sales letter and all your problems go away.

Buy this webinar software and all your problems go away.

Just buy this push button software and all your problems go away.

yeah, right.

You’ve probably invested in some of those things.

And you still don’t have an influencer/maven business.

My guess is it’s because you either A) didn’t realize you NEED all those components (you do) or B) you don’t know HOW to do all those components, and hardly anyone is teaching them.

How would it feel to learn those components, how to do them, and put them all into place fast, like in the next week?

So here’s some background:

 

I’m in the process of brainstorming and outlining a brand new website and influencer business.

And next week I am going to build a brand new influencer/maven website and complete business from scratch.

The website will be made using easy wordpress software on a new domain name which I’ll buy next week.

I will use a special theme and 2 special plugins to design the site.

It will have the essential 5 core components that EVERY influencer/maven website MUST have in order to be successful.

It will have a unique selling proposition that NO ONE is using.

It will sell a $1000 or more training program or coaching program, to be designed next week.

It will have a subscriber element.

And an email campaign.

And everything else an influencer/maven site needs to be successful.

 

Now, the thing is, most of the time when someone like me comes around and builds something like that . . . we don’t announce it ahead of time. Except maybe to create some kind of suspense.

But we don’t want anyone to see behind the scenes how it is done.
It’s like it’s some big secret in the industry.

The gurus don’t want you to know all the ins and outs of their business behind the scenes.

Oh!, sure they tell you that they will show you the 7 step blueprint.

But it’s not what they are really doing.

They tell you to “choose a niche,” “create a squeeze page,” “write a sales letter,” “make a blog,” and “drive traffic.”

But you’ve tried all that, and it doesn’t work quite like the gurus tell you, does it?

THEY didn’t use that 7 step formula for THEIR business, but they are selling it to YOU as “the formula”

Somethings fishy here, right?

What they REALLY do is what I shared with you earlier in this letter.

They build a REAL influencer business to SELL YOU the “7 Step Formula” that they DON’T use themselves.

 

So as I was strategizing this new website and influencer/maven business, I thought, why not just open up my entire business model – the entire planning phase, all the components that will go into the business, and every step of creating a new business – starting with a new domain name and everything – from scratch in 7 days or less . . . and let you watch me do it right along the way?

Then you could see EXACTLY how it is done, step by step!

You’d see EXACTLY what I do.

An Open Letter to Total Access and Coaching Clients

Dear Total Access or Platinum Coaching Client,

Are you frustrated because you aren’t getting the results you want in your business?

Do you want a complete internet business that sells high-priced consulting, a group coaching program, and a home study course, but for some reason, no matter how much you learn, you just can’t DO IT?

Now, before I get into the nitty gritty, I want to bring something up.

The reason you are reading this – because I am only sending this to Total Access or Coaching Clients – is because you are a Total Access client or a Coaching Client.

That means you have access to the KNOWLEDGE.

But you aren’t implementing it.

You know WHAT to do, but something is missing.

It’s implementation.

Now, that’s probably not because you aren’t trying.

It’s not because you don’t know WHAT to do.

And it’s not because you are lazy.

It’s not because you aren’t putting the time in.

You know what to do.

You are putting the time in.

And yet, at the end of the day – you don’t have these parts in place.

And it’s not your fault. It happens to almost everyone.

And when you read this, you are going to think, how easy this is.

And you are going to think, this is the same thing Sean has been saying to me for months, just rephrased a different way.

The reason: it’s a simple system.

It’s what I do in my own business.

It’s simple.

It only involves a few pages on your site, a few offerings to your clients, and some daily content writing.

I don’t have any employees.

I rarely pay anyone to write, I outsource graphics only because I don’t want to take the time to learn, and I outsource basic customer service because I get hundreds of emails each day and only 10 of them are important, so I don’t want to spend 2 hours a day reading emails telling me about the latest mlm, million-visit traffic system, or someone begging me to please promote their product since they are just getting started and don’t know how to get their own traffic.

I do everything else myself. And generate between $15,000 and $42,000 each month like clockwork.

All from my seat in the local coffee shop or at the table in our dining room that overlooks the garden my wife has planted for the summer.

And you might have just read that and thought, but that’s Sean.

He’s ultra productive.

Or really smart.

Or God just likes him.

Whatever you are thinking.

Sure, those things are true.

But they can be true for YOU as well.

God likes you.

You are smarter than you think (surely smart enough to have 5 pages on your website and talk on the phone to people who need your help. You do talk, right? And you do use a telephone, right?)

And you can be just as productive.

You see, the reason I am productive is not because I work really fast or I’m an automaton.

It’s because I’ve spent the last 7 years perfecting a system that works like clockwork.

I simply use my system.

And you can too.

I want you to imagine for a minute a business.

I want you to imagine that you have a really simple business.

Whatever your niche is, it involves helping other people, right?

You teach SOMETHING, right?

You teach people how to create a blog, or how to get a date, or how to trade German deutschmarks, or how to hire employees, or how to do a budget, or how to make up with your wife, or how to get your husband to get off the couch and get to work, or SOMETHING.

Right?

You teach something, right?

Ok, what do you teach?

Say this after me: I teach people how to _____________

(By the way, if you can’t finish that sentence, that is 1/2 of your problem. Stop now and figure that sentence out.)

So you teach people how to _________

 

Now, what are the various ways you can teach people that thing?

You can talk with them one on one, right?

You can talk with them in a group, right?

or you can record a series of lessons and they can learn from those lessons, right?

You can do all 3 of those things.

What if I told you that my entire business is all about doing those 3 things?

 

That’s it.

 

Stick with me for a second.

YOU can talk with people one on one and teach them how to do __________?

In fact, that would be the best way to teach someone, right?

Here’s the thing: I think there is too much emphasis these days on automation.

You know, create a zillion products and just talk people into buying all those products.

Products don’t change people’s lives, YOU change lives.

Stop focusing on product creation.

Wait! You say – but don’t you teach product creation?

yes, I do.

But it is the LAST thing to do, not the first.

Let me explain.

Buying products is the LEAST effective way for someone to learn from you.

So why sell products FIRST?

Because it’s what everyone else is doing?

Is that working for YOU?

Here’s a hint: it’s not working for them as well as you think.

Only about 1/2 my revenue comes from products! And people who get real results get those results by working personally with me, not from products.

Your main focus should be helping people personally.

Now, you might say, but I don’t want to coach a million people one on one, and I want to help a million people.

That’s ok.

Coach 10 people a month one on one.

Everyone else gets group coaching or buys products.

But coach 10 people.

No matter how much money you make.

Coach 10 people.

And simply raise the price for your one on one coaching until the demand is exactly 10 one on one clients per month.

Then anyone who cannot afford your one on one coaching, enrolls in your group coaching.

Group coaching is 2nd best to one on one coaching.

Same thing with products.

Everyone who cannot afford your coaching, buys your products.

What are your products?

They are simply a downloadable version of your group coaching teaching.

You can call it a home study course.

The INFORMATION is the same, whether someone buys one on one coaching, group coaching, or your home study course.

The difference is the personal involvement with you.

The training itself doesn’t get the results.

The contact with you gets the results.

So if you REALLY want to change people’s lives, you MUST offer some one on one coaching.

Period.

You might say, I don’t know how to coach one on one.

That’s okay.

I’ll give you a lesson right now.

Follow me on something.

If someone approached you in the coffeeshop this morning and asked you “what do you teach people to do?”

And you said, “I teach people how to ___________ (you know, whatever you teach, fill in the blanks)”

If that person asked you to sit down with them – face to face – for one hour and show them how to do ________ (what you teach people to do), you could teach them how to do it, right?

You could tell them the steps, right?

(If you can’t, then you have no right to be in the information business, anyhow, if you can’t teach someone how to do what you teach . . . )

You could pull out a sheet of paper and list the steps, right?

And if they asked questions you could answer them, right?

That is one on one coaching.

You can do it.

One on one coaching is teaching someone how to do something one on one.

There’s nothing special about it.

“One on one coaching” is just a fancy way of saying “teaching someone something face to face”

But maybe you are thinking, but I can’t sit face to face with most of my clients, they are in various states or countries.

So let me ask you this, if you can tell someone what to do face to face, you can tell them the same thing over the telephone, right?

What if someone called you and asked, “do you have one hour, can you tell me how to do _______ (whatever you teach)?

You can teach them, right?

That is one on one coaching.

You can coach.

You can coach one on one.

And one on one coaching should be the backbone of your business.

Now, you may be thinking, but I want to automate my entire business.

That doesn’t work in today’s market.

Sure, you can automate it.

But you won’t make very many sales.

Almost everyone who has automated their entire business is having to come back into the business and get personal, or go out of business.

I know, you are probably thinking, but so-and-so is making $5 million a year selling automated information products.

Not anymore! They used to. But not anymore! If you dig into their businesses – and I’ve done it for many of the big name gurus – I’ve dug in to see where they are making their money.

Most of the revenue is personal! That’s right – one on one coaching, or group coaching for people who can’t afford their one on one coaching.

The products sales are only 1 of 2 things:

1) a lead in (you know, a $100 entry level product) that does NOT make you money, it only pays for your traffic

or 2) something people buy if they cannot afford your one on one or group coaching.

But almost all revenue in the information niches is coming from working with people personally.

So the question is, do you want to change people’s lives and make money?

Then you’ve got to get out of the mindset that you can create a bunch of products and automate their sales.

That used to work.

But the world is changing.

There’s a lot to the “why” of this, I could teach on this for an hour, but don’t want to write for an hour for this – so I’ll sum it up like this:

the cost of “information” online is approaching zero. WSOs are the proof of that. You can learn how to do almost ANYTHING for $7 on the warrior forum.

So why do people buy hundreds of $7 WSOs and still have NOTHING in their business? They should be really smart if they buy that many WSOs, right?

But knowledge isn’t the issue.

Implementation is.

And implementation happens when you meet with someone personally.

And that’s probably what’s happened with you, right? You’ve bought a lot of INFORMATION but no one has held you accountable for DOING it, right?

So now let’s get into the business model.

You have one on one coaching.

10 clients a month at $300 an hour. Or $1000 an hour. Whatever.

Then 100 clients a month at $300 a month.

Then 1000 people buy your information package (your product) for $1000.

How would you like to have a business like that?

You can.

Maybe it won’t be quite that big, but you can adjust the numbers for your niche.

Maybe it’s $500 an hour for coaching.

$200 a month for group.

And 100 people buy at $500 instead of 1000 at $1000.

But do you like that model?

You can have a business like that.

Now, I can hear you now, but I just want to sell the information package because that is all automated revenue.

That’s where you are wrong.

And almost everyone else that is trying to just sell information products, is wrong.

Because the REASON THEY BUY YOUR INFORMATION PACKAGE IS BECAUSE YOU HAVE A COACHING PROGRAM!!!!

They buy your information product because they really want your coaching, but they can’t afford it.

or they buy your information product because they don’t have time to take your coaching, but they want the information.

Or they buy the information package to see if they want to invest in coaching with you.

Notice that all 3 reasons why people buy information products revolve around you having coaching!!!!

If you don’t have coaching, no one wants to buy your information!!!

But the problem is, that everyone sees the big-time gurus selling a million dollars of infoproducts on autopilot.

So they think, I want to sell infoproducts on autopilot like the gurus.

But they don’t GET that the infoproducts are only selling on autopilot because they are created by the guru with a coaching program!!!

Are you getting this, really getting it?

Think of your favorite guru.

I’ll go through a few:

Dan Kennedy – would he sell millions of dollars in infoproducts if he weren’t . . Dan Kennedy? No. But what makes him . . Dan Kennedy? His high priced coaching frames him. $5000  an hour or $25k a day. THAT’S why people buy his products.

Rich Schefren. His coaching is the core part of his business.

Yanik Silver – People don’t buy from him because he has a bunch of products, they buy his products because he is a high-priced consultant and thought leader.

Eben Pagan – he doesn’t even have traditional “products”. Almost all sales are coaching, or they are $2,000 recordings of . . . coaching.

I could go on and on.

Russell Brunson . . . his coaching program is his core offering. All products simply lead to his coaching program.

I could keep going, but I won’t.

Find a guru making $5 million or more and you will almost always, if not always, see that the bulk of their revenue is not only from coaching, but it is also BECAUSE of their coaching.

No coaching, no sales.

But you might be thinking, but I don’t want to make $5 million, I just want $100k.

Ok, fine.

But can I ask you a crazy question?

If Dan Kennedy, Eben Pagan, Rich Schefren, and Russell Brunson could just switch their business over and make their $5 million + just selling info products so they could go retire on a beach . . . why don’t they?

Do you really think Dan Kennedy LIKES coaching 10 hours a week these days?

Do you really think Rich Schefren LIKES coaching 10 hours a week these days?

And Eben Pagan and Yanik Silver and so on.

Don’t tell me they wouldn’t stop coaching if they could make the same money just selling infoproducts!

But they KNOW that if they stopped coaching, they would STOP being the guru, and people would STOP buying their products!!!

So if they can’t do it – with all their guru-ness, what makes you think you can do it?I

 

Actually, I think I know why.

Because I tried it myself.

I tried to go to just selling infoproducts.

And it didn’t work.

Once I stopped 1-1 coaching, the infoproduct sales dried up!!!!

Even though most infoproduct sales are from people who do NOT buy 1-1 coaching.

And if Dan Kennedy stopped coaching, his sales would go down.

And look, he doesn’t have to coach everyone.

You see, you just keep raising your prices until the demand for your coaching = about 10 1-1 clients per month.

Plus you have a coaching program (or 3)

THEN your infoproducts sell like hotcakes!!!

 

I hope you are getting the psychology here.

And I hope you are excited for yourself.

Maybe you are little scared because you didn’t realize you’d have to build a 1-1 coaching practice.

But can you see how if you add a 1-1 coaching practice with just 10 clients, that all the other sales will just run downhill?

You see, the folks that talk about a sales funnel have it all wrong.

They talk about starting low and moving people through a funnel.

But they don’t realize that without the 1-1 coaching at the top of their funnel, the entire funnel doesn’t work.

You see, Dan Kennedy can talk about a sales funnel all day long and everyone can copy him – but what he doesn’t tell you is that if you don’t have a COMPLETE funnel – meaning 1-1 and group coaching at the top – the bottom of the funnel doesn’t work.

So even though you SEE the front of the guru’s funnels with a $100 product –> $1000 product –> coaching that doesn’t mean you can start with a $100 product that leads to a $1000 product or any other price point and get the same results – UNLESS YOU HAVE COACHING ANCHORING YOUR SALES FUNNEL!!!

Do you want a real business that makes real money?

Then you must be willing to discard the fallacy that you can build an infobusiness that is just based on products.

You need:

1) One on one coaching with 10 clients priced at what the market will bear

2) Group coaching for everyone who cannot afford to work with you 1-1 (at a price the market will bear)

3) (Optional): a “membership” for people who cannot even afford group coaching

(have you ever noticed that people who have big coaching programs have big memberships with automated content, but if you try to start a membership from scratch with the same content as theirs – even if you cut the price in half – you don’t build a big membership. That’s because memberships are for people who can’t afford a group coaching program. But if you don’t have a group coaching program, then you have nothing for the membership buyers to “not afford.” So they don’t buy the membership.)

4) A home study course for people who want everything in the membership, but all in one download instead of spread out over months (once again, for people who don’t buy your coaching)

5) A website that has a sales page on it for each of the above 4 items

6) An email campaign that tells people about your coaching and the rest of your offerings (in case they can’t afford your coaching [are you getting this yet, at a visceral level?])

7) Once those 6 things are in place EVERYTHING else is about promoting those 6 things. Meaning get people who need what you teach to come to your site. This can be done through: articles, blog posts, facebook, books you write, speeches you do, people you talk with, and so on. Not “traffic.” Dan Kennedy doesn’t “drive traffic.” Rich Schefren doesn’t “drive traffic.” Yanik Silver doesn’t ‘drive traffic.” I don’t “drive traffic.”

So if all of us don’t “drive traffic,” why should you?

Because low-end im-niche bottom feeders keep telling you to “drive traffic”? Notice that high-end gurus don’t “drive traffic” nor do they spend much time talking about “driving traffic” and when they do, it’s usually because their clients BEG them to talk about. Sure, occasionally they might buy some traffic somewhere – but they are usually just doing it to get eyeballs to offers for testing, etc. – but not for the real sales. The sales occur through people talking about them, referrals, people talking about them in books, articles, blogs, etc. Almost all of my “traffic” is NOT from something I pay for or “drive” it’s from articles, blog posts, forum posts, discussions, other clients, etc. Driving traffic to make money is a myth. Sorry to burst one more bubble (and reveal one more internet marketing lie)

Back to the list:

How would it feel to have a business like that?

Like this:

1) One on one coaching with 10 clients priced at what the market will bear

2) Group coaching for everyone who cannot afford to work with you 1-1 (at a price the market will bear)

3) (Optional): a “membership” for people who cannot even afford group coaching

4) A home study course for people who want everything in the membership, but all in one download instead of spread out over months (once again, for people who don’t buy your coaching)

7) Once those 6 things are in place EVERYTHING else is about promoting those 6 things.

 

And the crazy thing is, this is the EASIEST business to set up – when you know what to do and how to do it.

Now, because you are a Total Access client or a Coaching Client, you already know “HOW” to do everything I listed above.

Unless you just started coaching a few days ago.

But if you have Total Access, you have like 300 hours of intense content teaching you what to do.

And if you are a Coaching client, you have access to the coaching lessons, which teach HOW to do everything I’ve just listed above.

 

So the question is this:

what is holding you back from JUST DOING IT?

It’s not the knowledge.

And by the way, if you are thinking, ok, Sean just taught me the missing piece, I’ll just go out and implement what Sean just taught me – let me warn you – coach to client: it won’t work.

For the same reason you haven’t implemented what you’ve already invested in.

Because you are in a pattern of learning MORE and MORE and MORE but not implementing.

 

Do you want a business like the one I have just described?

If so, you must break the pattern.

I mean, really break it.

You MUST break the pattern and get into a new pattern.

And that’s going to take, frankly speaking, more than just making another New Year’s Day Resolution in June.

It didn’t work in January.

And it won’t work this time.

You know what the definition of insanity is, right?

“Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

You have repeatedly in the past said, I am going to make a change and just be accountable and build my business.

But it never works.

Because you have no one that can really hold you accountable.

You can’t hold yourself accountable.

Because that is the fox in the henhouse.

Your wife can’t hold you accountable, cause after the first week, she’s just nagging, right? She has no clue what you do, how can she hold you accountable?

Your husband can’t hold you accountable, cause he’s just lording it over you after the first week, right?

You know it’s true!!

Your friends can’t hold you accountable because they know that if you actually succeed, they are envious. Seriously, do you have any friends that really would LIKE it if you could work from home 2 hours a day and go to the pool the rest of the time while they slave away at a 9-5 job?

C’mon, let’s get real.

There is NO ONE in your life who can really hold you accountable and do a good job of it.

You need a professional to hold you accountable.

Just like you need a professional to do your accounting if it’s going to save you the most money.

And a professional to diagnose your diseases.

And a professional to build your next home.

 

You need a professional to hold you accountable.

 

How would it feel to have someone to take you by the hand, show you each week EXACTLY What to do EACH week to implement the business we’ve just discussed?

 

What if you talked with them each week and they HELD YOU ACCOUNTABLE for DOING the work from last week???

You see, each of these 6 steps only takes one week to do, the way I teach it:

Are you information – overloaded, but not getting the results you want?

Are you frustrated because for 6 months or a year or more you have been buying training, studying from the gurus and the experts, you even know what to do, you can tell your friends about it over lunch?

Are you tired of learning what to do, then when you go to do it, it just doesn’t work like the video?

Or have you been learning, learning, learning – you feel like you could TELL someone how to do the internet-marketing thingy – but YOU aren’t making money?

 

Here’s the thing: sometimes there is an inverse relationship between knowledge and results.

You keep learning, learning, learning.

Sometimes you get stuck in what they call “shiny object syndrome”

And when you try to build a real business that makes real money, you get stuck.

Here’s the thing: you can learn and learn and learn.

And you can do the work, do the work, do the work.

But let’s call it like it is:

You get stuck.

And the thing is, it’s not your fault.

In fact, the whole knowledge cycle is addicting.

The more you learn, the more you want to learn.

It’s sort of like the college kid that never wants to graduate and get a job.

Cause it’s fun and addicting to keep studying.

Plus, everytime you open your email box there are like 10 people telling you that you “just HAVE to buy their latest training or you will get behind on the rapidly-changing internet”

The gurus are making their livings by convincing you (and me) that if you just buy one more training then you will have it all figured out.

But there is always “one more training”

Frankly, it sickens me.

And that’s why I’ve been doing some heavy-duty thinking in my own business lately.

I’ve been watching who succeeds and who doesn’t.

And I’ve discovered that the person who buys the most training isn’t necessarily the person who gets the most results.

Instead, I’m finding that it’s the person who spends the most time talking with me personally and then DOES what I tell them.

(Some people pay good money to talk with me but DON’T implement. They don’t succeed.)

The people who get the most results are the ones who DO what I suggest.

Now, I’m not bragging, please understand.

I’m simply sharing an observation.

So let me ask you this:

Do you think it would make a difference if you were regularly talking with me personally?

Or maybe, do you ever think, I wish I had someone to just TALK TO?

Someone who’s done it.

Been there, done that.


Someone who knows what will work before you do it.

Someone who will get you “unstuck” so you can get back to making money?

Here’s the thing:

And I’ll call it like it is:

You can keep studying, and learning, and taking coaching programs, and buying unlimited access to training programs, and you can study, study, study.

But until you actually start making money, nothing matters.

Or if you are already making money – let’s say, $5,000 a month – until you can get that to $10k a month, you can’t quit your day job anyhow, and maybe you are ruining your marriage or never spending time with your children because you are working SO hard to make that $5k a month.

Or maybe you are at $10k a month, but now you really need more just to pay the bills. Cause let’s face it, the more you make, the more your family spends. The more you make, the more the tax man wants. And the more you make, the harder it is to get into the “next bracket” and take home more.

Ok, I’m gonna call it like it is again:

If you keep doing what you are doing, you are going to keep getting the same results.


Period.

If you are happy with your current results, then stop reading.


You don’t need me.


That’s right, if you are happy with your current results, just close this page.

You don’t need anything more from me.

Well, since you are still reading, I’m guessing that you are NOT happy with your current results.

So the question is, what’s it gonna take to improve things?

Let’s start with what you DON’T want to do:

And that’s: buy another training course. Even if you have some unlimited access to training and you keep getting more training, just listening to more training isn’t gonna get you where you want to go.

The thing is, you see what kind of business I run.

And you see the kind of business the other gurus you are watching, run.

And let’s face it, it’s not like you are much different than us.

Your body works about like ours do.

You have about the same intelligence.

You are blessed with the same 24 hours each day that we get.

If we can start an internet business from scratch and make a full time income ++++, then you can too.

But the truth of the matter is this:

Deep inside you know that you keep getting stuck.

You keep getting stuck.

And you can’t get unstuck.

And it’s really frustrating.

Because you can see how easy it is, and yet when you go to do it, it just doesn’t work the same way.

OR – it works when you work it.

But life gets in the way.

Your wife wants you to clean out the garage and stop playing on the web.

Your husband wants you to cook dinner and quit playing on the web.

They just don’t understand.

or maybe you are in this together with your husband or wife.

and the kids don’t understand.

The phone rings.

The text comes in.

The TV show comes on.

And you get distracted.

Do you feel like distractions are holding you back from the business you deserve?

Do you believe you deserve a big web business, but you keep getting distracted?

Then we would set a time table for getting YOU the results you want in your business.

And every 2 weeks, we would meet with other clients working on something similar, the same folks each time, and not everyone, just folks in the special mastermind.

You would get to know each other.

You would critique each other’s sites and businesses.

You would have email access to everyone else in the small group mastermind.

We would meet 2 times a month maybe the first and third Wednesday or Tuesday, or whatever we all decided as a group.

And the best part would be that I would put EVERY PERSON on a hot seat EVERY WEEK.

I wanted to share with you a few pictures from our hike yesterday . . .

We hiked Herman Gulch near the Continental Divide -

We hiked 3 miles to the Jones Pass turnoff, then hiked about 2 1/4 miles to the Continental Divide, topping out at 13,102 feet according to our iphone app -

Here is Cricket and her favorite element . . . snow! (about 12,900):

At the end of the hike, we had to carry Cricket for a ways ’cause she tore one of her pads. She hates being carried, but she was fine with it this time!

We only carried her about a mile . . . she was much better after the break, but when we got home we saw she had a big blister under one of her pads . . . She’s normally great on these hikes, but we haven’t hiked as much this year, so her pads haven’t had a chance to toughen up as much as usual.

Anyhow, we all had a great time, the dog especially, as her favorite activities are catching snowballs and chasing squirrels and other rodents, and she got to do both today!

Dear Friend,

Are you frustrated because you want to build a long term business, but you keep getting stuck in the “email campaign” component?

Are you trying to build a solid business, maybe you are driving quality traffic, you have some high-converting sales pages, but you can’t consistently get the right prospects to the right offer at the right time?

When I first got started online, I was creating a new product each month, writing a daily email each day, and scrambling to find a way to get 1000 visitors a month to my website so that they would join my list, read my emails, and buy my products.

Perhaps you’ve been there before, maybe that’s where you are right now.

If so, you understand!

It wasn’t easy.

N0w, don’t get me wrong, I was making money.

But I was scrambling every day to come up with that day’s money- maker.

But I knew that there was a better way.

So I set out on a journey to figure it out.

I would pre-write email campaigns.

I would try them out.

They would fail.

Rinse and repeat.

Again and again.

Fail.

Fail,

Fail.

Miserable.

Maybe that’s where you are.

If so, you know it’s not a good feeling.

Horrible, in fact.

You see other people doing it.

But you just can’t do it yourself.

Back to me.

I was struggling.

Then, by chance, I wrote an email campaign, day by day, just doing my normal thing, each day writing a new email based on taking the “pulse” of my subscribers, just mailing what they wanted/needed.

What I felt in my gut would convert.

And I did that for about 10 days, and made a bunch of sales.

Some time later, I was thinking, I wonder if I were to just re-run those SAME emails in the same order, no changes, over a 10 day period, could I get the same results through automating the same emails?

So I ran them.

And kept track of my results.

And . . . .

drumroll . . .

Da

Ta

Da

Dum

About 1/2 the sales of the last time.

Failure, right?

It would be easy to think that.

It would be easy to come to that conclusion.

It would be easy to come to the conclusion that the only way to do this business is to write a fresh email every day, because that is how you double profits.

But the problem is, I knew I was getting burnt out having to write a daily email, day in, day out, in order to make money.

So then I began to think, well what if I stopped worrying about having to get the very highest conversion rates with a live campaign, but accept 1/2 the sales (50%) and have it on autopilot, but just get 2x as much subscribers each month, then I would have the same revenue?

And once I went down the path in my mind, I thought, ok, well what if I were to just have a 50% performing campaign, and I don’t have to write a daily email, and instead I can just focus my time on subscriber generation?

Instead of 2x as many subscribers, let’s do 4x as many subscribers?

Or 8x as many subscribers?

And with that increased revenue coming in, I could stop getting all my subscribers from free methods like writing articles and creating content myself, but I could take the increased profits and pay for traffic. Google adwords. Google youtube. Solo ads. Private list mailings. Have others write articles and post content.

And because I have leveraged it all with 8x the traffic, I can afford to invest in traffic.

Not having to invest a penny of my own money, but instead just investing a % of my revenue as it comes in.

By the way, that’s a powerful strategy in itself.

Many times folks ask me, where should I buy traffic when I am just starting out?

And I tell them, don’t.

Start by doing the free stuff: articles, youtube, infographics, pinterest, and so on until you have money coming in.

And then with your 1st $100, take 10% and put it into paying for what you are already doing.

Like pay someone to write an article.

Next month you do $150.

Invest $15 in traffic.

And snowball it.

But back to my story, and the email campaigns.

So that’s what I did.

I took that campaign and ran it just like it was, accepting a lower rate of buyers.

But then my analytical mind starting working, and I thought, ok, well if that campaign will do 1/2 the sales just like it is, what if I were to do some 80/20 work on the campaign.

The thing is, with a 21 day email campaign, probably 80% of the sales are coming from 20% of the emails – so about 4 emails were likely driving the bulk of the sales.

And what if I were to take the sales page that is already getting consistent traffic, and start testing conversion on it, and making improvements?

And to make a long story short, I basically devised an entire tweaking, testing, and maximizing protocol that I have used for years now, I have shared it with clients, and it gets amazing results.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1: You write an email campaign, let’s say, 10 emails long.

Step 2: You run a subscriber-getting campaign and funnel, let’s say, 1000 subscribers through that campaign.

Step 3: You get maybe 50 sales.

Step 4: You document which emails led to the most sales:

For example:

Email 1: 2 sales

Email 2: 9 sales

Email 3: 15 sales

Email 4: 1 sale

Email 5: 8 sales

Email 6: 4 sales

Email 7: 2 sales

Email 8: 1 sales

Email 9: 1 sales

Email 10: 7 sales

Do you see a pattern here?

Emails 2, 3, 5, and 10 accounted for 39 of the 50 sales.

So what would happen if we simply deleted the other 6 emails and rewrote new emails that look and feel similar to the 4 that were most productive?

And we re-ran the campaign, what would happen?

The 4 emails would probably get 39 sales again.

But the new 6 emails might get another 30-40 sales.

So now you are at 69-79 sales from the same campaign.

You do it for one more iteration, you have 100 sales from the campaign.

Notice, you haven’t done anything with the sales letter.

A little conversion testing on the sales letter, and you double conversion there, and now you are getting 200 sales with 1000 subscribers.

And with sales like that, you could easily pay for more and more traffic, right?

And we haven’t even talked about an upsell – you could double revenue with an upsell.

And we haven’t talked about a coaching program on the backend, more revenue there (and that can be sold using an automated campaign just like this)

Here’s the thing, you can do this, and in fact, if you’ve been taking good notes, you could probably get off this teleseminar right now and you are good to go.

And

When preparing this presentation today I had two option. Option one is I could show you some cool stuff for about an hour, and then we can part ways. Option two is I can extend a special offer to those of you who are interested in putting into action today what I showed you in the easiest… most effective… simplest ways. I choose option two, and when you see what it is, I think you’ll be glad I put this together for you…”

Now, the truth of the matter is this, you’ve taken good notes.

You probably feel pretty good, and you are really excited right now.

But let me ask you this, how you would like to have 10 times the detail, step by step, every email to write, every step of the way?

Now, at this point, is this exciting or not?

If not, re-read the last half of this letter.

If you still aren’t excited, maybe this isn’t for you.

And that’s okay.

This isn’t for everyone.

But if you want to be able to write some email campaigns that steadily increase in conversion over time, you might be interested in doing this.

And by the way, if you are an analytical person, if you’ve had some real experience making lots of sales online, and maybe you have a statistics or a mathematical background, you can probably figure it all out on your own.

I didn’t, I learned from so many people, bits and pieces here and there, and I drew on my real-world selling and conversion experience, and my statistics background, and tested and tweaked until I had figured it out.

And I’m still making improvements!

But if you are thinking, can you just show me the details, what kind of an email campaign do I write to start?

What kind of emails do I put in the campaign?

How do I test each email?

How do I improve the campaign?

What software do I use?

In short, if you want the details, the step by step details that are just too much for one letter – you might like this.

I simply find that with information this deep, you’ll get so much more out of it by listening for an hour a day, taking intense notes, studying those notes later during the day, and really having it soak in.

Study hard for 10 days, and then jump in.

And by the way, it’s not easy.

This isn’t some cookie cutter, I tell you the silver bullet words that work everytime (there are none), copy and paste and let it go.

No, you gotta write 10 emails.

You gotta send subscribers through the campaign.

You gotta evaluate which emails worked and which didn’t.

And you have to rewrite the ones that didn’t.

And yes, if your favorite email was the worst performing, you have to get rid of it.

Cut it out.

Write a better one.

Then you have to test the next iteration of the campaign.

Then you have to do testing on the sales letter.

And so on.

And of course, once it’s successful, you’ll want to create another campaign and another campaign and another campaign because once someone buys, if you send them through another conversion campaign, you’ll make more sales of another one of your products.

This isn’t easy.

But if you are willing to do the hard work of studying

The hard work of setting it up

The hard work of testing, improving, testing, improving, testing, improving again and again.

The rewards are amazing.

And this isn’t some typical “sales letter” that’s gonna tell you what the rewards are.

To find out, read one of the empty promises letters about vacations and new cars and worthless wealth and accumulation.

or dig deep into yourself and ask yourself, how would my life be different if I had a 100% automated email campaign that converts like crazy?

What would happen in your life?

Now, if I haven’t talked you out of it by talking about all the hard work.

If you have your own goals instead of some fake beach and fast cars dream that has been implanted with some pretty pictures on the webpage.

And if you are ready to do the work to build the business of your dreams, let’s get you started.

I’m not going to do some long-winded pitch about how this is worth $10,000 but since you are the 37th person to buy today, you get the very special price of just $497.
